English "account" has many meanings that don't map to a single Japanese word. Always identify the intended meaning first. For example, "take into account" is not about 口座 or アカウント; it means 考慮する (こうりょする).
口座 is specifically for bank accounts. アカウント is for online/digital accounts. Using 口座 for a social media account sounds unnatural.
