キャンプ場 refers to the entire campground facility, while キャンプサイト usually means an individual campsite within it. However, キャンプサイト is sometimes used loosely for the whole area, especially in natural settings.

Many popular campgrounds in Japan require reservations, especially during peak seasons. You can often book online using the term 予約 (reservation). Look for キャンプ場予約サイト (campground reservation sites).
