真実が明らかになった。
The truth came to light.
調査の結果、新たな事実が明らかになった。
As a result of the investigation, new facts came to light.
To say that a physical item, document, or piece of evidence is discovered after being hidden or lost.
明らかになる is a general 'become clear'. 判明する is often used when something is confirmed or turns out to be a certain way after investigation. 発覚する implies exposure of something hidden, often negative.
Do not translate 'come to light' literally as 光に来る or similar. It is not natural Japanese.
Often used when something is determined or turns out to be the case after investigation. Slightly more formal.
原因が判明した。

Used when something hidden, especially wrongdoing or a secret, is exposed or uncovered. Often has a negative connotation.
Literally 'to surface'. Used when a problem or issue that was latent becomes apparent or public.

Used when a secret, plot, or wrongdoing is exposed, often unintentionally. Somewhat literary.
陰謀が露見した。
The conspiracy came to light.
The most common way to say something is found. Works for objects, evidence, etc.
新しい証拠が見つかった。
New evidence came to light.
失くした書類が見つかった。
The lost documents came to light.
