心に響く is about being moved by something external (music, words). 共感する is about actively empathizing with someone's feelings or situation. Use 心に響く for art/expression, 共感する for opinions/experiences.

I resonate with your feelings (I feel the same).
This song resonates with many people.
Similar to 心に響く but with a nuance of hitting closer to the heart, often used for deeply moving experiences.
