There is no single Japanese word that covers all uses of 'roster'. Always choose the term that fits the specific context: team, class, work, etc. Using 名簿 for a work shift schedule would be unnatural.
名簿 is the safest general term for a list of names, but it can sound formal. In casual conversation, メンバー表 or simply リスト may be more natural.
