Translation guide
An English vulgar insult expressing anger, frustration, or contempt. Japanese has no direct equivalent; the best choice depends on context, intensity, and the speaker's relationship to the target.
You want to insult someone directly in anger, similar to 'You bastard!' or 'You son of a bitch!'
Literally 'this guy/bastard'. A very common, rough, masculine insult. Strongly confrontational.
この野郎、ぶっ殺してやる！
You son of a bitch, I'll kill you!
What the hell are you doing, you son of a bitch!
Extremely rude 'you'. Often used alone as an insult. Very aggressive, masculine.
てめえ、よくもやってくれたな！

Adds 'shit' (クソ) for extra vulgarity. Very strong insult.

Informal 'you'. Can be affectionate or rough depending on context. Often used with a joking insult.
Do not translate 'son of a bitch' literally as 雌犬の息子 (めすいぬのむすこ). It makes no sense as an insult in Japanese and will cause confusion.

Most Japanese equivalents for 'son of a bitch' are rough and masculine. Women rarely use 野郎 or てめえ. In polite or formal settings, these words are completely unacceptable. If you need to express strong displeasure politely, use phrases like 許せない (ゆるせない, 'unforgivable') or ひどい (ひどい, 'terrible') instead of direct insults.
When talking about a third person you're angry with, Japanese often uses the person's name with a derogatory suffix like 〜の奴 (〜のやつ) or simply あいつ. This can convey contempt without explicit vulgarity.
くそ！こんなことになるなんて。
Son of a bitch! I can't believe this happened.
