A casual, friendly way to agree to a request or express certainty. In Japanese, the best equivalent depends on the situation: casual agreement, polite confirmation, or enthusiastic acceptance.
Responding to a request or suggestion with a friendly 'of course' or 'no problem'.
Very common casual agreement. Literally 'it's good', used like 'sure' or 'okay'.
「手伝ってくれる？」「いいよ。」
"Can you help me?" "Sure thing."
Means 'of course'. Slightly more emphatic than いいよ, but still casual.
「明日来る？」「もちろん。」
"Are you coming tomorrow?" "Sure thing."
Literally 'leave it to me'. Used when someone asks you to handle something.
「これお願いできる？」「任せて。」
"Can you take care of this?" "Sure thing."
Agreeing to a request or confirming something in a polite or neutral setting.
Very polite, often used in service situations. Equivalent to 'certainly' or 'very well'.
「予約をお願いします。」「かしこまりました。」
"I'd like to make a reservation." "Sure thing."
Formal 'understood' or 'certainly'. Common in business contexts.
「資料を送ってください。」「承知しました。」
"Please send the documents." "Sure thing."
Literally 'yes, with pleasure'. Warm and polite, but less formal than かしこまりました.

Means 'no doubt' or 'it's certain'. Used to assert something is a sure thing.

It's a sure thing that he'll win.
Means 'it's certain' or 'it's a sure thing'. Slightly more formal than 間違いない.
成功は確実だ。
Success is a sure thing.
Do not translate 'sure thing' literally as 確かなこと (tashika na koto) when agreeing to a request. That sounds unnatural and means 'a certain thing' as a noun phrase.
