For a vibrating phone, use 振動 or バイブレーション, not 震動 or 揺れ.
When talking about 'good vibes' or the atmosphere of a place, do not use 振動 or 震動. Instead, use バイブス (slang) or 雰囲気 (standard). Using 振動 for emotional resonance would sound unnatural and mechanical.
