value, price
価 centers on the worth of something, expressed as its value or price.
価 is the modern simplified form of 價. The older form combines 亻 (person) with 賈, which likely contributed the sound and the idea of trading or pricing. The modern right side 覀 is a simplification that does not carry the original historical meaning.
A person 亻 beside a container 覀: imagine a merchant setting a price on a jar of goods. The person and the container together represent value.
For カ, picture a car with a price tag hanging from the mirror: car -> カ, and the price shows its value.
