Dated pre-noun adjectival used in negative sentences to mean 'no particular ...' or 'nothing noteworthy'. Modern Japanese often uses 特に or これといった instead.

• させる理り由ゆうもなく欠けっ席せきした。

  I was absent without any particular reason.

• 彼かれの話はなしにはさせる興きょう味みを引ひかれるものはなかった。

  There was nothing particularly interesting in his story.
