suru verb (special), transitive verb
Formal or literary verb for reciting texts aloud, especially sutras, poetry, or classical works. The reading じゅする is a rare alternative for 誦する, and ずする is even rarer.
僧侶が経文を誦する。
The monk chants the sutra.
彼は漢詩
His hobby is reciting Chinese poetry.
