Expressing a change of mind in Japanese depends on the situation: whether you're simply changing your opinion, reversing a decision, or being persuaded. Common expressions include 気が変わる (one's feelings change), 考えを変える (change one's thinking), and 思い直す (reconsider).
To express that someone's mind, feeling, or opinion has changed, often spontaneously or due to new circumstances.
Literally 'one's ki (spirit/mind) changes'. This is the most common and natural way to say someone changed their mind, often implying a shift in mood or inclination.

気が変わる is more about a spontaneous change of feeling or mood, while 考えを変える implies a deliberate change of opinion or plan. Use 気が変わる for 'I changed my mind (about going)' and 考えを変える for 'I changed my thinking (on the issue).'
Avoid directly translating 'change of mind' as 心の変更 or マインドの変化. These sound unnatural. Use the idiomatic expressions above.
