荷物 is the most general term for any package or luggage. 小包 specifically refers to a postal parcel. 宅配便 refers to a courier service package (like FedEx or UPS). Use 荷物 in everyday conversation unless you need to be specific.
Although パッケージ is a loanword from 'package', it is not used for a mailed box or parcel. Use 荷物 or 小包 instead. パッケージ is mainly for software or commercial bundles.
