Exclamation uttered when making physical effort, such as lifting something heavy or standing up. Similar to よいしょ but with a more emphatic, colloquial feel.

"Heave-ho," he said as he lifted the heavy box.
おじいさんは椅子から立ち上がるとき、「よっこいしょ」と言った。
The old man said "oof" as he got up from the chair.
