Intransitive: to give in under pressure, difficulty, or threat; to lose one's nerve or resolve. Often used with に (to pressure, hardship, etc.).
彼は困難に屈しなかった。
He did not yield to the difficulties.
You must not give in to threats.

Transitive: to bend a body part, especially the knee. Often used in the phrase 膝を屈する (to kneel, to bend one's knee).
彼は王の前で膝を屈した。
He bent his knee before the king.
